I've received official confirmation that I will be studying in Tokyo starting in April. I'm very excited for the opportunity this brings, I never could have imagined that my goal two-years ago would finally materialize. It's an unfamiliar but welcome feeling to have long-term goals pay off so concretely.

I move out of this room in Watauga Hall tomorrow but I've hardly started packing. That said, my computers are already out of here. My old Resident Advisor will be moving in to my spot for the spring with my current roomate.

I've been musing over the thought of keeping a discrete diary while I am abroad. I could just as easily append it to this book, especially since there is no particular theme.
